This set of markets tracks how many points each team scores in an upcoming college football game. Each market corresponds to a specific point threshold for a team, determining whether they exceed that threshold during the game.
All markets resolve based on the official final point totals for Indiana and Nebraska in their college football game scheduled for October 10, 2026. For each market, if the specified team scores more than the stated point threshold, the market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the result is still based on the final score of that game. If the game does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price, ensuring impartial handling of unforeseen delays or cancellations.
On Kalshi, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes for the Indiana-Nebraska team totals. The price of each contract reflects the market's current expectation of that outcome's probability. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices converge to reflect a collective assessment of the likelihood of each team’s total score. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows for real-time adjustments based on new information and changing sentiment. The market’s depth and volume indicate the level of confidence in these predictions.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final team totals for both Indiana and Nebraska will be sourced from official game statistics. The market will settle based on whether the actual team totals fall above or below the specified thresholds, as defined by the contract terms on Kalshi. Traders holding contracts on the correct outcome will receive a payout, while those on the incorrect outcome will forfeit their investment. The resolution process is designed to be transparent and objective.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Key player injuries or suspensions for either Indiana or Nebraska would likely cause substantial shifts in the odds. Unexpected changes in coaching strategies or team performance during recent games could also impact trader sentiment. Weather conditions on game day, particularly if they are severe, could also play a role. Finally, any significant news or analysis from reputable sports analysts regarding team matchups or scoring potential could move this market. Monitoring these signals will be crucial for informed trading decisions.
