Frequently asked questions

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a ‘wisdom of the crowd’ perspective, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which can be influenced by house biases or promotional offers. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to attract balanced betting, while this market allows participants to freely express their beliefs. If prediction market participants consistently disagree with sportsbook lines, the odds will diverge, potentially offering opportunities for arbitrage. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities of an outcome, and neither is guaranteed to be accurate.

The resolution will be based on the official result of the India vs West Indies cricket match, as reported by a recognized sporting authority. This ensures a transparent and objective determination of the winning outcome. Traders should monitor news sources leading up to and following the match to stay informed about potential factors that could influence the resolution process.
