This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between New Zealand and India scheduled for October 30 2026 at 3:00 AM ET in India Tour of New Zealand T20s. The outcome corresponding to New Zealand will be considered correct if New Zealand is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to India will be considered correct if India is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on expert analysis and incorporate a margin for profit, while this market allows traders to collectively assess the probability of each outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists between the two, opportunities for arbitrage may arise, as traders attempt to profit from the difference. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities as perceived by different groups—analysts in the case of sportsbooks, and the public in the case of this market.
This market resolves around Nov 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be determined by the official result of the toss in the New Zealand vs India T20 series. The winning team of the toss will be the outcome reported, and this will be used to settle the market. Traders will be able to claim their winnings based on the final outcome and their holdings in the corresponding shares.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding team lineups, player form, or weather conditions at the match venue could impact trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about player injuries or changes in team strategy could also lead to significant shifts in probabilities. Furthermore, public opinion and analysis from cricket experts may sway traders' beliefs, causing fluctuations in the market price. Overall, any information that alters the perceived likelihood of either team winning the toss has the potential to move this market.
