PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms align on the core resolution criteria, defining a winner based on official results and handling ties and cancellations consistently.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers (e.g., ESPNcricinfo).

Core resolution logic:

  • Official result (including DLS/DRS, penalties, walkovers, Super Overs) determines the winner.
  • Permanent cancellation or abandonment without a winner results in a 50-50 resolution.
  • Ties without a tie-break mechanism also resolve 50-50.
  • Postponement keeps the market open until completion.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • No Official Toss: If no official toss winner is recorded, the 'Who wins the toss?' market resolves 50-50.
  • Delayed/Relocated Match: If the match is delayed or relocated, the markets remain open until the completed fixture.
  • Statistics Delay: If official statistics are not published within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting will be used.
Timing: Resolution will occur once official match results are published by the governing body or event organizers, or within 2 hours of the event's conclusion based on a consensus of credible reporting. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
