Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms utilize identical resolution criteria, focusing on the official match result and handling tie/abandonment scenarios consistently.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers, with espncricinfo.com as a credible reporting source.

Core resolution logic:

  • The winner is determined by the official match result, including outcomes decided by DLS/DRS or other on-field rulings.
  • In the event of a tie, a Super Over (if available under playing conditions) will determine the winner.
  • If no Super Over is used, the market resolves to a 50-50 split.
  • Cancellation or abandonment before completion results in a 50-50 split.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • No Official Stats: If official statistics are not published within 2 hours of the match's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting (e.g., espncricinfo.com) will be used.
  • Match Start Delay: If the match does not start by Sunday, November 8, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, the market resolves to a 50-50 split.
Timing: Resolution will occur once the official match result is available, or by Sunday, November 8, 2026, 11:59 PM ET if the match is canceled or abandoned. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. Polymarket

In the upcoming India Tour of New Zealand ODIs cricket match between New Zealand and India, originally scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2026 at 9:00 PM ET (as of creation of the first market related to the event): DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If this market's outcome was definitively determined under its rules by the listed resolution sources before abandonment, that outcome will stand. Otherwise, the following no-result provisions apply. If the match is canceled, does not start by Sunday, November 8, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or is abandoned with no official result by that time, the market will resolve 50-50. If the match otherwise is completed without a winner, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
