This group covers the outcome of a single One Day International (ODI) cricket match between New Zealand and India scheduled for November 3, 2026. The market resolves to the winner of the match, accounting for scenarios like DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, and tiebreakers.
This market refers to the cricket match between New Zealand and India scheduled for November 3 2026 at 9:00 PM ET in India Tour of New Zealand ODIs. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the differing incentives and information sources involved. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while prediction markets reflect the aggregate beliefs of informed traders. This can lead to prediction markets being more accurate, particularly when significant information isn't yet widely available. While sportsbooks may initially have an edge due to quicker line setting, this market can incorporate a broader range of perspectives and potentially identify mispricings that sportsbooks miss. Both offer unique insights into the likely result.
Prices on Polymarket and Predict can diverge due to several factors. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform has its own user base, trading fees, and liquidity, which can influence price discovery. Additionally, differing risk appetites among traders on each platform can lead to variations in how they value potential outcomes. Information flow and news interpretation may also vary between the two venues, causing discrepancies. Finally, the specific market design and available trading options on Polymarket versus Predict can contribute to price differences in this market.
This market resolves around Nov 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the India-New Zealand ODI series, as declared by the governing body of international cricket. Traders will be able to see the final result reflected in the market's settlement data. This ensures a transparent and objective determination of the winning outcome, based on the established sporting results.
Several events could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding player injuries or changes to team lineups for either India or New Zealand would likely cause shifts in probabilities. Unexpected weather forecasts for the match locations could also influence trading activity. Furthermore, performance in preceding matches or warm-up games could alter perceptions of each team's strength. Major upsets or dominant performances in the early stages of the series would be key catalysts. This market will resolve around Nov 11, 2026, so any developments leading up to that date are likely to be reflected in the odds.
