In the upcoming Allsvenskan game between IK Sirius and Halmstads BK, scheduled for November 3, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the IK Sirius vs. Halmstads BK match originally scheduled for November 3, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, driven by the wisdom of the crowd on Polymarket, aims to reflect the true probability of each exact score occurring, without a built-in profit margin for a central operator. Discrepancies between prediction market prices and sportsbook odds can arise due to differing information sources, biases, or simply the collective intelligence of market participants. Examining these differences can be a valuable exercise for informed decision-making.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each exact score. The price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and express their views, the prices adjust to reflect the collective prediction. Higher demand for shares in a particular outcome will drive its price up, indicating a greater perceived probability, while lower demand will push the price down. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date information.
This market resolves around Nov 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final result of the IK Sirius vs. Halmstads BK match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score at the end of regulation time will determine the winning outcome. The platform will then verify the result against official sources to ensure accuracy and finalize the settlement of all outstanding shares. Traders should monitor official sources for the match result as the resolution date approaches, as this will determine the payout for this market.
Several factors could influence the trading activity and price movement in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments announced by either IK Sirius or Halmstads BK could significantly impact the perceived probabilities. Weather conditions on match day, as well as any pre-match analysis from sports commentators or analysts, could also shift market sentiment. Unexpected events during the match itself, such as early goals or red cards, would likely cause rapid price fluctuations in this market until resolution.
