In the upcoming Superettan game between IFK Norrkoping FK and Orebro SK, scheduled for October 20, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the IFK Norrkoping FK vs. Orebro SK match originally scheduled for October 20, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and aim to balance risk and profit, while this market is driven by traders directly expressing their beliefs about the likelihood of each exact score. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply variations in analytical approaches. It’s common to see prediction markets incorporate information faster than sportsbooks, especially in response to breaking news or late-developing insights.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that exact score occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises accordingly. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price reflects the aggregated sentiment of all participants, creating a dynamic and real-time assessment of the event's potential results.
This market resolves around Oct 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result of the IFK Norrkoping vs. Orebro match—the exact score—will be used to determine the winning outcome in this market. Resolution will occur after official confirmation of the match result from a trusted sports data source. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at the time of resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before the match concludes. Any news regarding player injuries, suspensions, or changes in team lineups would likely have a significant impact. Unexpected weather conditions at the match venue could also shift expectations. Furthermore, in-game events during the match itself, such as early goals or red cards, could cause rapid price adjustments as traders react to the unfolding situation. Changes in public sentiment or expert analysis regarding the teams’ form could also contribute to price movements in this market.
