This market, like others on Polymarket, allows anyone to participate and express their beliefs about the outcome, potentially leading to more accurate probabilities, especially as the event approaches. However, sportsbook odds can still provide a useful benchmark for comparison, and discrepancies may present arbitrage opportunities for informed traders.
