This market refers to the cricket match between Zambia and Lesotho scheduled for October 23 2026 at 5:00 AM ET in ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub Regional Qualifier C. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. This can lead to discrepancies, especially in events where public perception differs from expert opinion. It’s common to see prediction markets move faster to incorporate new information, as they are continuously updated by traders reacting to news and developments. Comparing the odds can reveal where the crowd believes there is value or mispricing.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. As more shares are purchased for a specific outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived probability. Conversely, selling shares drives the price down. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share can be interpreted as the probability of that outcome occurring, though factors like trading fees and risk aversion can influence prices. The current trading volume suggests significant interest in determining the match’s result.
This market resolves around Oct 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub Regional Qualifier C match between Zambia and Lesotho, as reported by the ICC or other widely recognized sports news sources. The market will settle to 100% for the winning team or the outcome deemed to have occurred according to the official results. Any disputes will be resolved based on the most authoritative sources available.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding team form, player injuries, or changes to the playing conditions could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather forecasts impacting the match schedule could also cause movement. Furthermore, significant shifts in public opinion, perhaps driven by pre-match analysis or social media discussions, could affect trading activity. Finally, any official announcements from the ICC relating to the tournament or the specific match could lead to price adjustments as traders react to the latest information.
