This market refers to which team's player records the highest individual run total in the cricket match between Nigeria and Uganda scheduled for October 25 2026 at 8:50 AM ET in ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub Regional Qualifier C. The outcome corresponding to Nigeria will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Nigeria. The outcome corresponding to Uganda will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from Uganda. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible outcome – in this case, which team’s batter will be the top scorer. The price of each share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe a particular outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding shares will rise, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the collective intelligence of all participants.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official match results, specifically identifying which team’s batter scored the highest number of runs during the Nigeria vs Uganda cricket match. The official scorecard will serve as the definitive record for determining the winning outcome of this market. Traders will be able to see the final result reflected in the market’s settlement data shortly after the match concludes.
Several factors could influence the odds in this market. Any news regarding player injuries or changes to the team lineups would likely cause significant movement. Weather forecasts also play a role, as rain could affect the match duration and playing conditions, potentially favoring certain batters. Furthermore, performance in preceding matches or recent form of key players could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about pitch conditions or strategic changes could also impact the market, as traders react to new information and adjust their predictions accordingly.
