This market refers to the cricket match between Mozambique and Zambia scheduled for October 25 2026 at 4:30 AM ET in ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub Regional Qualifier C. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set initial lines based on their own models and risk assessments, while this market’s odds are driven by the collective predictions of traders. If a significant number of people believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the price of shares representing that outcome will rise. This can lead to opportunities for arbitrage, where traders profit from discrepancies between the two types of odds.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing different outcomes. The price of each share reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is determined entirely by supply and demand among traders on the platform, and is a direct reflection of their collective beliefs about the match’s result.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub Regional Qualifier C match between Mozambique and Zambia. The platform will verify the result against trusted sources to determine which outcome is the winner. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final result.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player form, or weather conditions could shift traders’ expectations. Unexpected announcements about team strategies or coaching changes might also have an impact. Furthermore, as the match date approaches, any pre-match analysis or expert opinions could sway sentiment and cause the market to move. Ultimately, any information that alters perceptions of Mozambique or Zambia’s chances of winning could lead to price fluctuations.
