This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Mozambique and Gambia scheduled for October 21 2026 at 5:00 AM ET in ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub Regional Qualifier C. The outcome corresponding to Mozambique will be considered correct if Mozambique is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Gambia will be considered correct if Gambia is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Often, prediction market odds can differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. This is because prediction markets aggregate the wisdom of the crowd, reflecting a broader range of opinions and information than a sportsbook’s oddsmakers might consider. Sportsbooks set lines to balance their risk and ensure profit, while this market represents what traders collectively believe will happen. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information access, analytical approaches, or simply varying levels of confidence in a particular outcome. It’s common to see prediction markets move faster to incorporate new information than sportsbooks.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. As more shares are purchased for a specific outcome, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. The market’s price reflects the collective intelligence of all participants, constantly adjusting as new information becomes available and traders update their views. This dynamic pricing allows for a real-time assessment of expectations.
This market resolves around Oct 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the officially declared toss winner for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub Regional Qualifier C match between Mozambique and Gambia. The outcome will be determined by the official match result as reported by the tournament organizers. Traders will be able to claim their winnings based on the final result, which will be publicly available and independently verifiable.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding team form, player injuries, or changes in weather conditions could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements related to the match schedule or venue could also have an impact. Furthermore, significant betting activity or large trades on Polymarket could cause noticeable price movements. Public opinion and analysis from sports commentators, while not directly reflected in the market, could also indirectly influence trader behavior and lead to changes in the odds.
