This market refers to the cricket match between Lesotho and Uganda scheduled for October 21 2026 at 5:00 AM ET in ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub Regional Qualifier C. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely express their beliefs about the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both platforms. However, it’s important to remember that prediction markets are forward-looking, incorporating information not yet reflected in sportsbook lines, and can therefore provide a unique perspective on the event’s probability.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe a completed match will occur, the higher the price of shares representing that outcome will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the collective intelligence of those trading it.
This market resolves around Oct 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the result of the Lesotho vs. Uganda match in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub Regional Qualifier C is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on whether the match is officially completed according to the tournament rules. The outcome will be based on official sources and widely available match results, ensuring a transparent and verifiable resolution process.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in weather conditions at the match venue, or updates on team form could all shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements from the ICC regarding the tournament schedule or rules could also impact the market. Furthermore, any significant betting action or large trades on Polymarket itself could create momentum and move the odds, reflecting a change in perceived probability of a completed match.
