This market refers to which team's player records the highest individual run total in the cricket match between Lesotho and Mozambique scheduled for October 20 2026 at 9:00 AM ET in ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub Regional Qualifier C. The outcome corresponding to Lesotho will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Lesotho. The outcome corresponding to Mozambique will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from Mozambique. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which are set by professional oddsmakers. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like public betting percentages and risk management into their lines, while this market relies on individuals’ independent assessments of player performance and match conditions. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially early on, as prediction markets can be more responsive to new information and nuanced analysis. Examining both can provide a more comprehensive view of expected outcomes.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where participants buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular team’s batter, the price increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing reflects the evolving consensus of the crowd and provides a real-time assessment of the likelihood of each player being the top scorer in the Lesotho vs Mozambique cricket match.
This market resolves around Oct 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which team’s batter scores the most runs in the official ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub Regional Qualifier C match between Lesotho and Mozambique. The official match results will be used to determine the winning outcome, and any ties will be handled according to the tournament’s official rules. The market will settle based on the officially recorded statistics from the match.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries or changes to the team lineups for either Lesotho or Mozambique would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Weather forecasts predicting rain or unfavorable playing conditions could also impact predictions, potentially favoring certain batting styles. Furthermore, performance in preceding matches or recent form of key players could sway traders’ opinions. Unexpected announcements related to the match schedule or venue could also introduce volatility into this market.
