This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Gambia and Zambia scheduled for October 24 2026 at 8:50 AM ET in ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub Regional Qualifier C. The outcome corresponding to Gambia will be considered correct if Gambia is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Zambia will be considered correct if Zambia is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, aggregating diverse opinions and information. This can lead to differences compared to sportsbook odds, which are often set by professionals and may be influenced by factors like house bias or marketing strategies. If sportsbook odds strongly disagree with this market, it might suggest that the crowd believes the sportsbook is mispricing the probability of either Gambia or Zambia winning the toss. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, and discrepancies don’t necessarily mean one is ‘correct’.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each outcome – Gambia winning the toss or Zambia winning the toss. As more shares are bought for one outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price reflects the collective assessment of all traders participating in the market. The total volume traded in this market is currently unknown, indicating the level of interest and activity surrounding this particular event.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official result of the toss is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be determined by which team – Gambia or Zambia – wins the toss at the start of the match. The resolution will be based on the official announcement made by the tournament organizers and widely reported by sports news outlets. The platform will then verify this information to finalize the outcome of this market.
Several factors could influence the trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding team form, potential player injuries, or weather conditions affecting the match could impact traders’ beliefs about the toss outcome. Unexpected announcements or changes to the match schedule might also cause fluctuations. Furthermore, significant trading volume from informed participants could also move the market, as others react to their actions. Ultimately, any information perceived as relevant to the probability of either Gambia or Zambia winning the toss could move this market.
