On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular team, the price increases, and the implied probability rises. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market dynamically adjusts to new information and changing sentiment, providing a real-time assessment of expectations for the Gambia vs Zambia cricket match.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which team’s batter scores the most runs in the match. The official match results will be used to determine the winning outcome. It's important to note that the market will close prior to the official result being declared, allowing time for verification and settlement. Traders should monitor the event closely as the resolution date approaches.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather forecasts impacting playing conditions could significantly shift the odds. Performance in prior matches, recent form of key players, and even expert analysis from cricket commentators could also sway trader sentiment. Unexpected developments during the match itself, such as early wickets or a dominant batting performance, would likely cause rapid price adjustments in this market.
