This market refers to the cricket match between Gambia and Uganda scheduled for October 23 2026 at 9:00 AM ET in ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub Regional Qualifier C. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven purely by traders’ willingness to buy or sell, leading to probabilities that can sometimes be more accurate, especially when information isn’t fully priced into sportsbook lines. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information access or varying risk appetites between market participants and bookmakers.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice-versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is determined solely by supply and demand, meaning it’s a direct expression of collective prediction, rather than a model-driven assessment.
This market resolves around Oct 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub Regional Qualifier C match between Gambia and Uganda. The winning team, as declared by the ICC, will determine the settled outcome of this market. Any potential disputes regarding the official result will be addressed according to Polymarket’s resolution procedures.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding team form, player injuries, or changes in playing conditions could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather forecasts impacting the match schedule or pitch conditions could also cause movement. Furthermore, significant betting activity or large trades on Polymarket could create price fluctuations. Finally, any pre-match analysis or expert opinions released that challenge existing expectations could also impact the market’s trajectory.
