This market refers to which team's player records the highest individual run total in the cricket match between Gambia and Lesotho scheduled for October 25 2026 at 4:30 AM ET in ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub Regional Qualifier C. The outcome corresponding to Gambia will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Gambia. The outcome corresponding to Lesotho will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from Lesotho. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each player being the top batter. The price of each share directly reflects the probability of that outcome, as determined by supply and demand. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective prediction. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price movements can be influenced by various factors, including expert analysis, team news, and even social media sentiment, all of which are factored into traders’ decisions.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which player scores the most runs in the match, according to official match statistics. Any tied scores will be broken according to standard cricket rules, and that result will determine the winning outcome for this market. The platform will verify the result against official sources to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Several factors could significantly move this market before resolution. Any news regarding player fitness, such as injuries or illness affecting key batters, would likely cause shifts in the odds. Weather forecasts also play a role, as rain could shorten the match and alter the expected run rates. Unexpected team selections or changes in pitch conditions could also influence trader sentiment. Finally, any expert analysis or public commentary highlighting a particular player’s form or potential could drive trading activity and impact the probabilities reflected in this market.
