On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust to reflect the collective assessment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price movements are driven by supply and demand, with higher demand pushing prices up and lower demand pushing them down, ultimately determining the perceived probability of each team hitting the most sixes.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The team with the most sixes hit during the Gambia vs Lesotho cricket match will be declared the winner. The resolution will be based on the official match statistics released by the governing body for the tournament. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the result is officially verified and reported, ensuring a transparent and accurate settlement process for this market.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries or changes to the playing conditions could significantly shift expectations. For example, if a key batsman for either the Gambia or Lesotho is ruled out, it could impact the perceived likelihood of them hitting more sixes. Weather forecasts predicting favorable batting conditions might also increase trading volume and influence prices. Ultimately, any information that alters the perceived competitive balance or the potential for high-scoring innings could move this market.
