This market refers to the cricket match between Qatar and Kenya scheduled for October 24 2026 at 2:30 AM ET in ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League A. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome, leading to potentially more efficient pricing. While sportsbooks may initially be influenced by public perception, prediction markets can adjust more rapidly as new information becomes available and traders refine their assessments of the likely result. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, especially as the event approaches.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League A match between Qatar and Kenya. The platform will rely on widely accepted sources to determine the winner of the match. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the resolution is finalized and the outcome is officially declared. It's important to monitor the official tournament channels for updates as the resolution date approaches.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding team lineups, player injuries, or changes in playing conditions could significantly impact trader sentiment. Unexpected weather forecasts at the match location could also play a role, as could any controversies or developments related to the teams' performance in preceding matches. Major shifts in public opinion, as reflected in sports news and analysis, could also drive price movements. Monitoring these signals will be crucial for anyone looking to trade in this market before Oct 31, 2026.
