This market refers to the cricket match between Qatar and Denmark scheduled for October 28 2026 at 2:45 AM ET in ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League A. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on expert analysis and incorporate a margin for profit, while this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both platforms. However, it’s important to note that prediction market odds are dynamic and can shift rapidly based on new information and trading activity, potentially converging with sportsbook odds over time.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate and express their views, the price adjusts to reflect the collective sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price is determined solely by supply and demand within Polymarket, and there is no external influence on the pricing process. This creates a dynamic and responsive market that can quickly incorporate new information.
This market resolves around Nov 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team lineups, player injuries, weather conditions at the match venue, or changes in team form could all cause the odds to shift. Unexpected results in other relevant matches within the ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League A could also impact trader sentiment. Furthermore, significant trading volume from informed participants or large-scale bets could also lead to price movements. Monitoring these signals will be crucial for understanding how this market evolves leading up to the Nov 4, 2026 resolution.
