This group covers a single cricket match between Papua New Guinea and Kuwait in the ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League A. The market resolves to the winner of the match, accounting for scenarios like DLS/DRS adjustments, tiebreakers, and potential forfeits or cancellations.
This market refers to the cricket match between Papua New Guinea and Kuwait scheduled for October 30 2026 at 2:45 AM ET in ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League A. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the wisdom of the crowd and differing incentives. Sportsbooks set odds to maximize profit, incorporating a margin for themselves, while prediction markets allow participants to directly bet against each other. This market reflects the collective intelligence of traders, potentially leading to more accurate probabilities. However, sportsbooks may have access to more granular information, such as team injuries or weather forecasts, which can influence their odds. It's common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events.
Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Prices on Polymarket and Predict can diverge due to several factors, including differences in user base, trading volume, and market-specific liquidity. Each platform attracts a different demographic of traders with varying levels of expertise and information. Polymarket might have a higher concentration of cricket enthusiasts, while Predict could attract more general prediction market participants. These differing perspectives can lead to variations in price discovery. Additionally, the volume traded on each platform influences price stability and responsiveness to new information.
