On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular fighter, the price of those shares increases, and the implied probability of that fighter winning rises. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price and reduces the implied probability. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date information and collective wisdom of the traders.
This market resolves around Oct 29, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Hyriavyi vs. Badanin fight, as determined by the relevant sporting authorities. The platform will verify the result against trusted sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders who hold shares in the winning fighter will receive a payout of 1 USDC per share, while those holding shares in the losing fighter will receive nothing.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding the fighters’ training, injuries, or changes in their condition would likely cause significant movement. Public statements from the fighters or their teams, as well as analysis from boxing experts, could also shift market sentiment. Unexpected developments in the lead-up to the fight, such as changes to the venue or rules, could also impact trading activity. Ultimately, any information that alters the perceived probability of either fighter winning has the potential to move this market.
