Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official match outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on March 28, 2026, with identical handling of postponements and cancellations.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from FIFA or the governing body/event organizers; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus may be used.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves YES if Hungary wins (Hungary win market) or Slovenia wins (Slovenia win market) or the match ends in a draw (draw market).
Market resolves NO if the opposite outcome occurs (e.g., Hungary win market resolves NO if Slovenia wins or draw).
Exactly ONE of the three outcome markets (Hungary win, Slovenia win, draw) will resolve YES.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, the draw market resolves YES and both win markets resolve NO.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Cancellation without Make-up: If the match is canceled entirely with no rescheduled make-up game, the draw market resolves YES while both Hungary and Slovenia win markets resolve NO.
Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the match is actually played and completed.
Resolution Source Hierarchy: Official governing body statistics are the primary source; credible reporting consensus is used only if official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official announcement of the final match result within 90 minutes plus stoppage time, with a 2-hour grace period for official statistics publication before alternative credible sources may be used.
