Description

This market will resolve to "YES" if the combined total number of goals scored by Hull City and Ipswich is 3 or higher during regular time (90 minutes plus stoppage time only) in the Premier League match scheduled for October 31, 2026, 15:00 UTC. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match has been completed. If the match is not completed as scheduled for any reason (for example, if it is abandoned, canceled, or awarded), and an official final result is recognized by the governing body or event organizers, this market will resolve based on that result. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "50-50." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs. Therefore, discrepancies can arise due to differing information or biases. It’s common to see prediction markets move independently of sportsbook odds, particularly as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts regarding the likelihood of over three goals in the Hull City and Ipswich match.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing the outcome. The price of these contracts directly reflects the probability of the event occurring—in this case, Hull City and Ipswich having three or more total goals. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and express their views, the price adjusts, providing a dynamic assessment of the likelihood. Higher demand for contracts indicating 'yes' (over three goals) will drive up the price, while increased selling pressure will lower it. This creates a market-driven probability assessment.

This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final goal count from the Hull City versus Ipswich match will be used to determine whether three or more total goals were scored. The resolution will be based on official match statistics and will be publicly available. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their strategies based on the final result of this market and the actual game outcome.

Several factors could influence this market before the match concludes. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Hull City or Ipswich would certainly impact the perceived goal-scoring potential. Changes in weather conditions, such as heavy rain or strong winds, could also affect the style of play and the likelihood of goals. Furthermore, any significant tactical adjustments announced by either manager, or even early goals scored in the match itself, could lead to substantial shifts in the price of this market as traders react to new information.
