Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, but may also incorporate a margin for profit. This market, on the other hand, is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. If a significant number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the price will adjust accordingly. It’s common to see prediction markets offering more accurate probabilities, especially as the event approaches and more information becomes available.

This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the market will determine which team scores the first goal in the second half of the Hull City vs. Everton match. The result will be based on official match data and verified against credible public sources. The platform will then distribute payouts to those who correctly predicted the first team to score in the second half, based on the final share prices at the time of resolution.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in formation could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day might also play a role, potentially favoring one team's playing style over another. Furthermore, in-game events during the first half, such as red cards or early goals, could heavily impact expectations for the second half and cause substantial price movement in this market. Overall team performance in recent matches will also be considered by traders.
