Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market’s probabilities are driven by actual trading volume and user beliefs. If a significant number of users believe one team is more likely to score first, the odds will shift accordingly, potentially diverging from sportsbook lines. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform sportsbooks, especially when incorporating new information or accounting for biases not captured by traditional oddsmaking.
