The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds, like those found for this market, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the nature of how they are determined. Sportsbooks set lines to balance their risk and incorporate a profit margin, while prediction markets rely on the collective wisdom of traders. This can lead to prediction markets being more accurate, especially when a large volume of trading occurs. However, sportsbook odds are readily available and often more accessible to the average bettor. It’s common to see discrepancies, particularly before significant events or when public opinion strongly favors one outcome.
Prices on Polymarket and Predict can diverge due to several factors. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform has its own user base, trading limits, and fee structure, all of which can influence price discovery. Additionally, differing levels of information and risk appetite among traders on each platform can contribute to price discrepancies. For instance, Polymarket currently favors neither team to score first at 96 percent, while Predict leans toward Houston Dynamo to score first. These differences reflect the unique dynamics of each market.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either the Dynamo or United would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if severe weather is expected, could also shift the odds. Furthermore, team form and recent performance in other matches will be closely watched by traders. Unexpected lineup announcements or tactical changes revealed before kickoff could also cause movement in the market, as traders adjust their predictions based on new information.
