Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds due to varying information sources and incentives. Sportsbooks typically set lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If prediction market participants have access to unique or overlooked information, the odds here could diverge from those offered by sportsbooks. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when public sentiment strongly favors a particular outcome.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe an outcome is likely, the higher the share price will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the collective intelligence of those trading in it, offering a unique perspective on the potential result of the Horokh vs. Yurkov match.
This market resolves around Oct 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
