In the upcoming Hong Kong Sixes cricket match between United Arab Emirates and Scotland, originally scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 11:30 PM ET (as of creation of the first market related to the event): This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result. The outcome corresponding to United Arab Emirates will be considered correct if United Arab Emirates is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Scotland will be considered correct if Scotland is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If this market's outcome was definitively determined under its rules by the listed resolution sources before abandonment, that outcome will stand. Otherwise, the following no-result provisions apply. If the match is canceled, does not start by Monday, November 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or is abandoned with no official result by that time, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is abandoned or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw".

Often, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like marketing promotions or biases, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both platforms. However, it’s important to remember that prediction markets are forward-looking, incorporating new information quickly, and may react differently to news than sportsbooks.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly, creating a dynamic and real-time assessment of the toss outcome. The current volume indicates strong interest in this particular match-up.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winning team of the toss in the Hong Kong Sixes match between United Arab Emirates and Scotland will determine the outcome. The resolution will be based on the official result announced by tournament organizers, ensuring a transparent and verifiable process. Traders should monitor official sources for updates as the resolution date approaches.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team form, player availability, or weather conditions could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about the toss procedure itself might also impact the odds. Furthermore, large trades by influential participants on Polymarket can create short-term price movements. Monitoring these signals and staying informed about the teams involved is crucial for understanding potential shifts in this market before it resolves.
