This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between South Africa and Oman scheduled for October 29 2026 at 11:30 PM ET in Hong Kong Sixes. The outcome corresponding to South Africa will be considered correct if South Africa is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Oman will be considered correct if Oman is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief about the outcome of the toss. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of all participants, creating a real-time forecast.
This market resolves around Nov 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the toss – which team wins – will be used to determine the winning share. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the tournament organizers, ensuring a transparent and objective outcome. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final result.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding team form, potential changes to playing conditions, or even weather forecasts could impact trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about player availability or strategic decisions made by either team could also cause shifts in the market. Ultimately, any information that alters perceptions of the relative chances of South Africa or Oman winning the toss has the potential to move this market.
