This market refers to which team's player records the highest individual run total in the cricket match between Oman and Afghanistan scheduled for October 30 2026 at 8:45 PM ET in Hong Kong Sixes. The outcome corresponding to Oman will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Oman. The outcome corresponding to Afghanistan will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from Afghanistan. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often incorporating information and analysis not immediately captured by traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbook odds are set by professional oddsmakers, this market allows anyone to trade and express their beliefs about the likely outcome. As a result, you may find differences between the implied probabilities on Polymarket and those offered by sportsbooks, particularly as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. These differences can present opportunities for informed traders.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each player’s likelihood of being the top batter. The price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more shares purchased for a particular player, the higher their price rises, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing reflects the collective intelligence of the market participants and adjusts in real-time based on trading activity.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which player scores the most runs in the Hong Kong Sixes match between Oman and Afghanistan. The official match results will be used to determine the winning player, and the market will settle accordingly. Traders should monitor official sources for the final results to understand the resolution process.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player form, potential injuries, or changes to the team lineups for either Oman or Afghanistan could significantly shift probabilities. Weather conditions on the day of the match, or even pitch reports suggesting a bias towards batting or bowling, could also impact trading. Finally, significant bets from well-informed traders could create momentum and move the market, especially as the match draws closer to Nov 7, 2026.
