This market refers to the cricket match between India and Pakistan scheduled for October 30 2026 at 2:15 AM ET in Hong Kong Sixes. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions, the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Frequently, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. This can be due to the wisdom of the crowd effect, where the collective intelligence of many traders can sometimes outperform individual oddsmakers. While sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, this market allows for real-time adjustments based on new information and changing sentiment. It’s common to see discrepancies emerge, particularly as the event draws closer and more information becomes available, reflecting differing beliefs about the potential outcome.
This market resolves around Nov 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Hong Kong Sixes match between India and Pakistan. The platform will rely on widely recognized sports news sources and official tournament results to determine the winning outcome. Traders will be able to see the resolution details on Polymarket once the event has concluded and the results have been verified.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather conditions impacting the match could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements related to the teams or the tournament itself could also cause fluctuations. Furthermore, major shifts in public opinion, as reflected in polls or expert analyses, might lead to adjustments in the market’s implied probabilities. Ultimately, any information that alters the perceived likelihood of either team winning will likely impact trading activity.
