In the upcoming Hong Kong Sixes cricket match between England and South Africa, originally scheduled for Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 1:20 AM ET (as of creation of the first market related to the event): This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result. The outcome corresponding to England will be considered correct if England is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to South Africa will be considered correct if South Africa is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If this market's outcome was definitively determined under its rules by the listed resolution sources before abandonment, that outcome will stand. Otherwise, the following no-result provisions apply. If the match is canceled, does not start by Tuesday, November 3, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or is abandoned with no official result by that time, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is abandoned or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw".

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and express their views, the price adjusts to reflect the collective forecast. Currently, the market is focused on the toss outcome, and the price movements are driven by factors like team form, historical data, and any pre-match news or analysis.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the toss in the England vs South Africa match at the Hong Kong Sixes tournament. The outcome will be determined by which team wins the toss, and this information will be sourced from official tournament channels. Traders will be able to see the final result reflected in the market’s settlement details following the event’s conclusion.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding potential changes to the playing conditions, or updates on the form of key players from either England or South Africa, could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather forecasts for the match day might also play a role, as toss outcomes can sometimes be affected by conditions. Major shifts in public opinion, as reflected in polls or expert analysis, could also drive price movements in this market as traders react to new information.
