On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and share their insights, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. The market’s price discovery process is driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe an outcome is likely, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase, and vice versa.
This market resolves around Oct 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Honcharenko vs. Kurliuk match as reported by the governing sports authority. The platform will verify the result against publicly available information to determine the winning outcome. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at the time of resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or unexpected performance in preceding matches could shift trader sentiment. Publicly released analysis from sports experts, or even significant social media discussion, can also impact the market. Unexpected weather conditions or venue changes could also play a role. Essentially, any information that alters the perceived probability of either player winning will likely cause movement in this market until it resolves.
