Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect a different kind of wisdom than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market represents the aggregated predictions of informed traders. As a result, you may find discrepancies between the implied probabilities on Polymarket and those offered by traditional sportsbooks. These differences can arise from varying levels of information, different analytical approaches, or simply the influence of public perception. It's common to see prediction markets move independently of sportsbook lines, especially as new information emerges.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, the price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price reflects the collective intelligence of the traders on Polymarket, and any significant shifts in price indicate changing expectations about the Holub vs. Cmil match. The market’s price is a dynamic indicator of perceived probability.

This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Holub vs. Cmil match as reported by the governing sports body. The platform will verify the result against publicly available sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders who correctly predicted the outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at the time of resolution. The process is designed to be objective and based on verifiable data.

Several signals or events could significantly move this market prior to Oct 31, 2026. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or unexpected developments in the lead-up to the match could influence trader sentiment.
