On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where users buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each candidate winning. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. As more traders buy shares in a particular candidate, the price increases, reflecting growing confidence in their chances. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price is determined entirely by supply and demand, with no external factors influencing the valuation of the shares. This creates a dynamic and responsive pricing system.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official results announced by the relevant electoral authorities in Ukraine, confirming the winner of the presidential election. The platform will then verify the outcome against these credible public sources to determine which shares will pay out. Traders holding shares in the winning candidate will receive a payout equivalent to 100 shares per winning outcome, while shares in losing candidates will be worth zero.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market. Major developments in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, shifts in international support for different candidates, and significant endorsements from influential political figures could all impact trader sentiment. Unexpected policy announcements or revelations about candidates' backgrounds could also cause fluctuations in the market. Additionally, any changes in polling data, even if not entirely reflected in traditional media coverage, could influence trading activity and shift the odds. Public statements from key stakeholders are also likely to move this market.
