Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from those offered by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set initial lines to balance their risk, while this market allows traders to express their own informed opinions. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information access, biases, or simply the collective insight of market participants. If you find a significant difference between the probabilities implied by this market and those from traditional sportsbooks, it could indicate an opportunity for value betting, depending on your own assessment of the event.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding shares will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust probabilities as the event approaches.
This market resolves around Nov 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
