Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply variations in modeling approaches. It's common to see this market diverge from sportsbook lines, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts regarding the Hiroshima Dragonflies and Levanga Hokkaido.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and express their views, the price adjusts to reflect the collective prediction. This dynamic pricing means the odds are constantly evolving based on the latest information and sentiment surrounding the Hiroshima Dragonflies versus Levanga Hokkaido game.
