In the upcoming 2. Bundesliga game between Hertha BSC and VfL Wolfsburg, scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 2:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Hertha BSC vs. VfL Wolfsburg match originally scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 2:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while this market allows traders to directly assess the probability of each outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists between the implied probability on Polymarket and sportsbook odds, it could indicate that the market believes the sportsbook is mispricing the event, or that information not yet reflected in sportsbook lines is available to traders. It's a way to see where the 'wisdom of the crowd' differs from professional oddsmakers.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing each possible exact score, and the price of each share reflects the market's collective belief about the likelihood of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The most popular outcome currently has a probability of 59.0%, as indicated by the share price. As more trades occur, the price adjusts, providing a dynamic and real-time assessment of the potential result of the Hertha vs. Wolfsburg match.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Hertha BSC versus VfL Wolfsburg match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The market will settle to 100% probability for the correct exact score and 0% for all other possibilities. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will receive a payout based on the final market price at resolution.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Hertha BSC or VfL Wolfsburg would likely have a significant impact. Team form, recent match results, and tactical changes announced by the managers could also shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even pre-match commentary from football analysts, could contribute to price fluctuations in this market as traders react to new information.
