Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official match outcome (win, loss, or draw) after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 4, 2026, using the same primary source (official Serie A statistics) and identical scope.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics of Lega Serie A (Italian professional soccer governing body) as recognized by the event organizers.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves based on the final outcome of the Hellas Verona FC vs. ACF Fiorentina match after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time (no extra time or penalties).
Three mutually exclusive outcomes are possible: Hellas Verona wins, ACF Fiorentina wins, or the match ends in a draw.
Exactly one outcome will occur; each platform's corresponding market(s) will resolve YES for the actual outcome and NO for all others.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the game is completed.
If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, Fiorentina win and Verona win markets resolve NO, and the draw market resolves YES.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the game is postponed, both platforms keep markets open until the match is completed and a final result is determined.
Match Cancellation Without Makeup: If the game is canceled with no rescheduled makeup game, Polymarket and Kalshi both treat this as a draw outcome (Fiorentina and Verona win markets resolve NO; draw market resolves YES on Polymarket).
Delayed Official Statistics: If official Serie A statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, both platforms permit resolution based on consensus of credible reporting sources.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of final match statistics by Lega Serie A, or within 2 hours after match conclusion via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are delayed.
