Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely express their beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is mispricing an outcome, they can take the opposite position in this market, driving the odds closer to what they perceive as the true probability. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant news or events influence perceptions.

This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the second half of the Heart of Midlothian FC versus St Mirren FC match in the Scottish Premiership. The platform will verify the result against official sources to determine which outcome—a win for either team or a draw—will be considered the winner of this market. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be paid out according to the final market price.

Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in coaching staff, or even weather conditions could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected lineup announcements or in-match events during the first half of the game could also cause significant price movements. Furthermore, large volume trades from informed traders could indicate a shift in expectations, potentially influencing others to adjust their positions. Monitoring these signals will be key to understanding how this market evolves before it resolves.
