Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like promotional offers or biases, while this market relies on traders directly assessing probabilities. If sportsbook odds significantly diverge from the implied probabilities seen here, it could indicate differing opinions on the likely outcome, or that the sportsbook is attempting to balance its book. Examining these differences can be valuable for informed decision-making, though direct comparisons are not always straightforward.
