Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the wisdom of the crowd effect. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk assessment, while this market reflects the collective predictions of many individuals. Generally, prediction markets tend to be more accurate than traditional forecasts, especially when a significant amount of volume is traded. However, sportsbook odds can provide a useful benchmark for comparison, and discrepancies may present opportunities for arbitrage or informed trading.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date collective intelligence regarding the Hawai'i-Arizona State game.
This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The platform will verify the final score and determine the winning outcome based on this publicly available information, ensuring a transparent and reliable resolution process for all participants.
Several factors could influence this market before the game is played. News regarding key player injuries on either the Hawai'i or Arizona State team would likely cause significant shifts in the odds.
