In the upcoming USL Championship game between Hartford Athletic and Charleston Battery, scheduled for October 14, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Hartford Athletic vs. Charleston Battery match originally scheduled for October 14, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market relies on individuals wagering their own capital. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when subjective factors or less-publicly available information are considered. It’s common to see prediction markets react more quickly to news and information that might not be immediately incorporated into sportsbook odds, though both aim to predict the same outcome.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different possible exact scores. The price of each share reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people trade, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. Higher demand for a particular outcome will drive its price up, indicating a greater perceived likelihood, while lower demand will push the price down. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the latest information and insights.
This market resolves around Oct 14, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Hartford Athletic vs. Charleston Battery match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the league or governing body. The market will determine which exact score was the final result of the game. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the shares they hold corresponding to the correct outcome.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries, suspensions, or changes in team lineups would likely cause shifts in the odds. Unexpected weather conditions at the game location could also play a role. Furthermore, significant tactical adjustments announced by either team’s coach, or even pre-game analysis highlighting a particular team’s strengths or weaknesses, could impact trading activity. Public sentiment and betting patterns observed elsewhere could also contribute to movements in this market.
