In the upcoming Israel Premier League game between Hapoel Petah Tikva FC and Beitar Jerusalem FC, scheduled for October 25, 2026 at 2:15 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Hapoel Petah Tikva FC vs. Beitar Jerusalem FC match originally scheduled for October 25, 2026 at 2:15 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a different kind of wisdom than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, and may adjust lines to balance their book. This market, however, is driven purely by traders expressing their beliefs about the probability of each exact score. While sportsbooks might initially offer odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, prediction markets can quickly incorporate new information and potentially outperform traditional odds as the event draws nearer. It's common to see discrepancies between the two, reflecting differing assumptions and information sets.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that outcome. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand – if many traders believe a particular score is likely, they will buy shares, driving up the price, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds are constantly updated based on the latest information and sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Hapoel Petah Tikva vs. Beitar Jerusalem match, as reported by a recognized sports data provider, will determine the winning exact score. Traders who hold shares in the correct outcome will be paid out according to the final market price at resolution. It’s important to monitor the event closely as the resolution date approaches to understand any potential factors that could influence the final result.
Several signals could significantly move this market before it resolves. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Hapoel Petah Tikva or Beitar Jerusalem would likely have a substantial impact. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could all influence trader sentiment. Unexpected news about team morale or internal disputes could also shift the odds. Monitoring sports news and analysis related to both teams is crucial for understanding potential catalysts that could drive price movements in this market.
