Description

This market refers to the LoL match between Hanwha Life Esports and Top Esports in the Worlds Group Stage, initially scheduled for October 23, 2026 UTC. This market will resolve to "Hanwha Life Esports" if Hanwha Life Esports win the match against Top Esports. This market will resolve to "Top Esports" if Top Esports win the match against Hanwha Life Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before November 6, 2026, 23:59 UTC (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 23, 2026 UTC). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, or the team is renamed or rebranded, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks may set lines based on power rankings or initial perceptions, while this market incorporates a broader range of information and real-time adjustments as more people trade. If a significant discrepancy exists, it might indicate that the market believes the sportsbook has mispriced the probability of a particular outcome. It’s a useful comparison point for those following the event.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the outcome. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders believe a particular team will win, the price of that outcome’s contract will increase, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust its predictions accordingly.

This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be determined by the official outcome of the League of Legends match between Hanwha Life Esports and Top Esports. The platform will verify the result against trusted sources to ensure accuracy and finalize the market settlement. Traders should monitor official announcements to stay informed about the event's progress and potential resolution triggers.

Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or unexpected roster changes could significantly shift the odds. Major upsets in other matches within the league could also impact perceptions of team strength. Monitoring these signals is crucial for understanding potential price movements.
