Description

This market refers to the LoL match between HANJIN BRION and LGD Gaming in the Demacia Cup Global Invitational 2026, initially scheduled for October 13, 2026 UTC. This market will resolve to "HANJIN BRION" if HANJIN BRION win the match against LGD Gaming. This market will resolve to "LGD Gaming" if LGD Gaming win the match against HANJIN BRION. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 27, 2026, 23:59 UTC (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 13, 2026 UTC). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, or the team is renamed or rebranded, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds offer a distinct perspective compared to traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, being driven by the collective wisdom of traders, tends to reflect a more accurate assessment of probabilities, though discrepancies can occur due to differing information or risk appetites. It's common to see prediction markets outperform sportsbook predictions, particularly when a significant amount of volume is traded, indicating strong conviction among participants.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective belief of traders regarding the likelihood of each outcome. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of that contract will rise, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the market odds constantly adapt to new information and changing sentiment.

This market resolves around Oct 14, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the League of Legends match between HANJIN BRION and LGD Gaming as reported by the governing body of the competition. Traders will be able to see the final result reflected in the market and any outstanding contracts will be settled accordingly. It’s important to monitor the event closely as the resolution date approaches.

Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or unexpected roster changes for either HANJIN BRION or LGD Gaming could significantly impact trader sentiment. Major upsets in other matches leading up to this one, or announcements about the game’s meta, might also shift expectations. Furthermore, large volume trades from influential participants on Limitless could create momentum and drive price fluctuations as we approach the Oct 14, 2026 resolution.
