On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a specific outcome. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of shares is determined by supply and demand; if many traders believe a certain outcome is likely, they will bid up the price of shares representing that outcome. This creates a dynamic pricing system that continuously adjusts to new information and market sentiment. The current price reflects the collective forecast of all traders participating in this market.
